For example, one client might require a file in comma-delimited format for input to an existing file management system; another client might need a turn-key journal lookup table for accessing impact factors and ISSN numbers; and another client might want a database of papers in a specific field, such as biotechnology, within a specific geographic region, such as a state.

• expected citation counts, which are precise baselines tailored to each and every article in the dataset
• Other optional information may include:
  • bibliographic information on the citing papers
  • cited references in each paper (those published from 1978 on)
