Of the top 100 federally funded U.S. universities, those below contributed the greatest number of papers to the combined field of art & architecture over a recent five-year period. Based on each university's percentage of the 5,088 papers entered into the Thomson Scientific database from Thomson-indexed journals of art & architecture between 1999 and 2003.
